Optional programmes include snowshoeing, cross-country, downhill and heli-skiing, hot springs visits and scenic flights. A great tour for all levels of experience.

Itinerary

Day 1 Sun Arrive Revelstoke. Check in at Glacier House Resort after your flight and transfer. This great snowmobile resort offers comfortable fire-place rooms and log chalets, indoor pool, spa, sauna, fitness room, restaurant and a cozy pub. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner in the ‘Sledders’ pub tonight.

Day 2 Mon Lake Revesltoke Trail / Frisby Ridge. After breakfast, we take you through your snowmobile safety instruction and equip you with boots, a snowmobile suit and helmet. We ride along Lake Revelstoke for great views of the Selkirk Mountains and wind our way up to the subalpine of the Monashee Range. After lunch we ascend on the trails to Frisby Ridge alpine meadows for our first alpine adventure. More trails await us as we head back to Glacier House Resort.

Day 3 Tue Boulder Mountain. Today we explore the scenic trails and spacious alpine meadows of Boulder Mountain. We ride across ‘Streeter Street’ and head up the Veideman Trail that brings us to the infamous Super Bowl, Turbo Hill and the sensational 150 horsepower cliffs of ‘Turbo’, where the brave of heart try to make it over the top of a sheer vertical cliff. More trails await us as we head back to Glacier House Resort for apples, a drink and a hot tub before dinner..SNO-Par2

Day 4 Wed Hotsprings and fondue on Frisby Ridge. After 2 days of riding you’ll appreciate the hot springs this morning. A 60 min drive by vehicle brings us to the soothing waters of the Crazy Creek waterfalls. After a relaxing hot soak we return to the lodge for lunch and gear up for our afternoon and evening ride of the trails and alpine areas of Frisby Ridge. We’ll straddle the ridge and look down 1300 m to the valley bottom far below and onto the Western Mountains of the Gold Range. Meadow after meadow filled with fun powder snow is our reward for this scenic crossing and we’ll play our hearts out in the snow all afternoon. Hungry yet? Get ready for a cozy candle-lit fondue or salmon steak BBQ at the ‘Glacier Station’, our cabin at 2000 m. An exhilarating ride through the dark alpine meadows using just our headlights provides an unforgettable experience before going home to the lights of Glacier House.

Day 5 Thu Boulder Mountain / Jordan Valley This morning we point our snowmobiles towards the Jordan Valley, where a meandering river is flanked on both sides by sheer cliffs and forest. Then we head for the frozen lakes and meadows of Boulder Mountain for more alpine riding. A thrilling ride along ‘bobsleigh ride’ trails brings us back to the valley floor, where we head back to the lodge, an unforgettable experience richer.

Day 6 Fri Frisby Ridge. Just a 20-min ride away, this is one of our favourite mountain areas, with lots of deserted trails through the scenic Columbia Mountains, and a 1250 m drop from ridge to valley floor. We’ll even find some great powder spots to play in, as well as abandoned log cabins, a reminder that trappers were the first explorers of these mountains. Don’t forget your camera as we might run into some of the big moose that wander through these valleys. After this last great ride, we head home to the lodge (approx. 3-4 pm).

Day 7 Sat Depart. After a hearty breakfast your snowmobile adventure ends. If there’s time you can fit in a last massage or shopping trip. We will arrange transfers for your flight home (which will arrive in the UK tomorrow, Sunday). You'll want to come back for more next year!
